Jenn, the world needs your help! You could be on the MLA Handbook team. My biggest pet peeve is quote vs. quotation. I never hear anyone use it 'properly'. According to Ms. Wien, the most anal of English teachers at the Nightingale-<BR/>Bamford School, you would "like to share a quotation", not "like to share a quote". Quote is designated for when you are prefacing that someone is about to say something like, Jenn said, I quote, "Mind your Ps and Qs". No one uses this rule, and sometimes I doubt its existance.
