I don't know who Ryan Gosling is. I don't know who "Rachel" is. Is the Notebook a book or a movie? Should I have read/seen it?
Should I know why it is that Stars is sharpening razors??
Can we possibly label or flag blogs such as these with a pink ribbon or banner??
The Notebook is both a book and a movie. Now, while this is undoubtedly a blog that pertains more to the female gender, I find it astonishing that you haven't at least heard of it. It could be male posturing, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteAnd rather than tag it with a breast cancer awareness ribbon, I will continue to tag these sorts of blogs "Reasons To Give Up On Life" and perhaps add in "Things/People Men Should Learn From".
Well, I acknowledged sorta having heard of it. I knew that it was either a book or a movie. (Do I not score points for that??!!) I just wasn't really sure if it was an Oprah Book Club book or a "chick flick" (which, thankfully, I didn't have a girlfriend when it was released). It was not false macho posturing so much as an admission of being totally clueless. (something you won't get from me, often!)
ReplyDeleteFurther, I have admittedly also heard of Ryan Gosling and had some vague notion that he was a young male actor, but I most definately would not be able to pick him out of a line-up, nor would I be able to name ANY of his other roles.
"Rachel" is far too vague a reference for me to get.
And I STILL have no idea why you'd be sharpening your razors.
Perhaps we can compromise and create a tag for "Movies that guys wouldn't be caught dead at, without a date; and which they only attend, with hopes of getting laid"
